Ariana Grande is of Italian descent on her father's side, and her mother is of Italian descent, as well as of English and possibly distant French-Canadian ancestry. She has described herself as a "half Italian but I'm also a quarter [Latino]," referring to her Sicilian, Abruzzese, and Pugliese heritage. Grande has also stated that she has "a little bit of redneck" in her because of her mother's Sicilian ancestry.
